arts & cultural connections
celebrating arts, music, culture and events alongside our community
music and the arts have been at the heart of our story since the beginning, with a variety of seasonal musical and cultural events held annually
The Arts & Culture program at Peninsula Hot Springs is designed to inspire connection, within ourselves, with each other, and with the rich traditions that shape our community. Through music, performance, dance, storytelling, and arts practice, our year-round calendar celebrates both global collaborations and local partnerships, including our ongoing work with the traditional owners of the Mornington Peninsula, the Boonwurrung and Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation, whose cultural knowledge and perspectives are respectfully woven into many of our programs.
connection to land
We have deep respect and actively collaborate with the traditional owners of the lands and waters of the Mornington Peninsula, the Boonwurrung and Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation, and gratefully work together in partnership to weave First Nations cultural understanding and respect into many of the programs offered on site.
cultural celebrations
Each year, we embrace global festivals such as Lunar New Year and Diwali, inviting guests to share in celebrations rich with light, colour, food, and music. These moments are expressions of joy, renewal, and connection that transcend cultures. By honouring these traditions, we recognise the diverse cultural fabric that shapes our communities and create opportunities for our guests to feel part of something deeply meaningful.
artist in residence program
Our yearly Artist in Residence program is designed to inspire leading musical and visual artists by immersing them in our natural environment. Artists reside on-site, enabling them to engage deeply in creative exploration and generate new works driven by the influence of nature and a renewed sense of wellbeing.
an evolving vision
'our vision is to be loved globally for delivering transformational experiences using creative expression through arts, culture, entertainment and events to connect people to nature, each other and a deep well of their being'
Marty Williams, Arts, Culture & Events Director at Peninsula Hot Springs
